Year end letter erroll small

Dear Friends of Daymark,

Greetings! I sure hope this letter finds you doing well. I am not sure what 2024 was like for you, but I have experienced some significant changes. If you don’t know by now, I was blessed to complete my Ph.D. in Pastoral Counseling from Regent University. I am excited about what God is doing and how things are progressing. There is a healthy collegiality among my colleagues and me. I am confident we will continue to provide vital counseling to the Birmingham area that helps us fulfill our mission to seek to reflect the light of the Gospel and the counsel of Scripture to assist believers toward depth, maturity, and restoration of relationship with God and one another. Therefore, would you prayerfully consider supporting my work at Daymark by making a year-end gift or committing to a monthly donation in 2025?

Why do I raise support?

We have no set fee for our counseling. As a ministry, we offer a sliding scale to lessen finances, which is an obstacle that might hinder others from getting much-needed help. Some pay at the high end of the scale, but many more contribute at the low end, some contribute below the scale, and some I counsel pro bono. We believe God has led us to operate as a ministry in this way, necessitating that we raise funds to offer a sliding scale while still covering salaries and other business expenses.

We are a non-profit organization – the only source of revenue I generate is through what an individual contributes for counseling.

Insurance does not reimburse those who meet with me – As you know my training is biblical and the style of my counseling is pastoral, not clinical. Because the state does not  license me and I do not provide a clinical diagnosis, insurance companies will not reimburse someone for meeting with me.

To give a tax-deductible year end gift click the “donate ” button below or send a check to our P.O. Box. You can set up monthly donations  as an automatic draft by locating the directions to do so on the donate page of our website or you can email Katy, our office administrator at admin@daymarkcounseling.com to let her know you want to do that and then mail monthly checks or make monthly electronic payments.

I genuinely love serving individuals, families and churches through the ministry of counseling/teaching and I am grateful for all of you who support the work I do by referring people to Daymark, praying for me and contributing financially. I hope and pray that God’s mercy and grace will hold you through 2024.

Your Brother in the service of Christ,
