Year end letter rachel small

Dear partners in ministry,

One year ago, I was preparing for maternity leave and asking for your prayer over that time. Thank you for praying! It’s hard to believe Asher is almost one! Ezra, our eldest, is now 3 ½, and, since I started at Daymark when I was pregnant with him, he’s a visual representation of “how old” I am as a counselor. If he’s any indication, I am in the careening, hilarious, high-highs and low-lows stage. In all seriousness, though, I mostly look back on this year at Daymark with gratitude. Some natural specialization has occurred; almost half of my clients are folks who serve in ministry in various capacities. I love getting to minister to ministers and pour into those who spend their lives pouring out. I am deeply grateful for and proud of the women the Lord has brought to my office. They are pursuing obedience and faithfulness in costly and often invisible ways, and the Lord is meeting them and me each step of the way. I love getting to be a part of it. I want to invite you into this work with me. I am in need of more monthly partners in order to continue this work sustainably. Would you consider “adopting” one of my clients for 2027, both in prayer and financial support? A monthly gift can have a huge impact:

  • $75 per month provides for 1 monthly client to receive affordable counseling
  • $150 per month provides for 1 biweekly client

Thank you for your partnership in the gospel!

Gratefully,
Rachel
